The "No Gas Nationals" is a racing event for gravity powered vehicles only.  This event is for people who build their own garage monsters and gives those makers the opportunity to show and ride their kustom creations in a safe environment.  This downhill monster mash is fun for the whole family and tests maker's skills against each other.  The rules are very loose to allow for artistic freedom; hence the "run watcha brung" aspect.  The photos below are from the 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 events. We've also put on bicycle and artist swap meets in the past. The Eddies also has a display spot at every Greaserama.

Since 2013, The Eddies Club has hosted an event aimed at giving local artists and makers the opportunity to display their creations in a carnival/swap meet type of outing.  We encourage artists to trade and sell their wares.  Weird Stuff Antiques at 9th and Tracy in downtown Kansas City, MO was kind enough to host our first 2 swaps.

"Greaserama" is the hosted by local car club, Los Punk Rods.  Greaserama is the largest and most unique annual car show in Kansas City.  Los Punk Rods make space for non motorized kustom builds in the No Gas Nationals section of their show, and kindly allow The Eddies Custom APV Club to host that section. Greaserama is on Labor Day weekend every year at the Platte County, MO Fairgrounds.

The Eddies Club heard many news stories in 2009 and 2010 about how the local food pantries were so badly effected by the recession.  So we decided to help.  The entry fee for teams was non perishable food that we donated to a Kansas City, Missouri food pantry called The Bishop Sullivan Center.

The Eddies love to support Gravity Racing in the Midwest. Below are photos of past events.
